    Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is a unitary of sensor device that collects data from nature and sends it to admmistrator (sinks). Along with the development and use of this system, there is some type of network topology used , one of them is multihop communication with the H-LEACH algorithm. This algorithm provides several advantages for sharing existing sensors into clusters. The process of sending data is done through sensors that receive the request and sends it to the base station / sink via the cluster head (CH) and the master cluster head (MCH), thus reduced power consumption. The problem which then arises is how long the sensors will be still working with decreasing value of the energy used for every data transmission. In this final project will be measured against the energy reduction of each node in the process of sending data to the sinks. Making this network will be done by simulation with the help of a software network simulator 2 (NS2). This measurement is done by varying the number of sensor nodes used. From this measurement process we will get some data that can then be compared to the number of how many sensor nodes multihop communication with the H-LEACH algorithm in wireless sensor network is working fine. Key Word : Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), NS2, Node, Sink, H-LEACH.
