    Abstract

    Geographic Information System is an information system that used for enter, store, update, manipulate, analyze, and display all forms of geographically referenced information to carry as a decision maker to make decision of a planning. Public vehicle is the most interested transportation for people because of it�s economical fee than another. Most people used this facility to travel or going to the destination places. For people who are not familiar with a large city area, many things that they made a reason for reluctance to ask starting from shame, fear and even the tendency is caused by a sense of trust. Nobody can avoid the worry they will because of the many public transport passing through the city street. Based on the above background at the end of this project created a program to provide a solution that is searching the city's public transportation can be accessed via the web. Thus this Geographic Information System will display all public transport routes in Surabaya and the number of operating public transport. In this Geographic Information System can also display public facilities (malls, PTN / PTS, hospitals, etc.) are passed / are on public transport routes. Expected outcome of Geographic Information System Public transport in Surabaya can be accessed through the web.
