Abstract
Use of mobile phones is growing mature, not only for the mere purpose to send a message or a phone but the progress has led to the multimedia functions. But in reality still a lot of operating systems that do not have the full support of the new features that have been owned by mobile phones. Causing a lot of features that can not be optimized by the user and a solitary loss. At the end of this project will be the development of Linuxbased operating system and the JVM in the hope that the operating system can produce a reliable and have the full support of features, especially the latest multimedia features. By doing a comparison of the operating system that has been there before the Android, will be seen that the operating system that has developed or is not feasible to run the multimedia features.
