    Abstract

    The need for alternative sources of electric power is needed when reserves Fuel, the world is getting thinner. In these efforts need an unlimited source of energy such as solar energy. Appliances that can be used to change energy is solar panels or solar cell. The efficiency of solar cells of low numbered between 18-22% while getting maximum energy from the sun, so to add value of the efficiency its required reflector device. Meanwhile, to keep the solar cells receive the maximum light of the sun tracking device required. Type tracker used was an active tracker. Active tracker is a tracker that works with coordination between the microprocessor-based electro-optical sensors or time-based. Sometimes a combination of all three components. With the integration of this system, the increase in power produced by an average of 17.93%. Keywords: solar tracker, Maximum power point tracking, solar panel.
