    Abstract

Because of technology in the world are increase since past until now, there are technology which called as augmented reality, augmented reality is an effort to combine a real and virtual world that made by a computer and then the range of either will be not different because augmented reality allowed user to interact with system in the real-time. Augmented Reality or commonly called as AR isnt a new technology, use of AR is interested and easily in to do something, in also AR are used in other moment, example, like an entertaintment, in sponsor and also get in to the education program. In this final project was made an augmented reality system using mobile devices such a mobile phones, application of augmented reality is used as a learning method to introduce of object to children, because many children have difference memories as well, another purpose are introduce to the neighbours for augmented reality can be easily developed. In this final project, augmented reality is oriented to marker that used as learning tools that are identified by using a mobile phone, in normal condition marker that used have size in 215 x 135 pixel that effect from value of light of intensity that have range in 140 to 25 candela in order to identify marker very well, but mobile phone must have camera to trigger marker in order to display 3D object as virtual object displayed on top of marker and then can be seen in mobile phone's screen, with made J2ME program that's include a Gray-Scale and also Treshold processing. Key word : Augmented Reality, Mobile, J2ME , Gray-Scale, Treshold
